About

Reconciliation Park Community Garden was established in September 2018 thanks to a City of Sydney Council grant with the vision to a create a welcoming and attractive place for local community members to come together to learn how to grow an edible garden.

The garden is supported by a Committee and led by a Head Gardener and team of Bed Leaders – all local volunteers.

All garden members have the opportunity to attend working bees, share in produce and participate in watering and compost rosters. Members also have a place to dispose of their green waste. We hold regular social events and hope to commence educational sessions in the coming year.

Membership is via a nominal annual fee (currently $30) to help fund the garden with equipment, seeds and plants. We welcome new members, please fill out the membership form to join.

We understand the produce that we grow will not replace our weekly groceries, this is not just about growing a garden, it’s also about growing as a community.
